Launch Of New Interactive Renal Anaemia Resource For Physicians

�EPG Health Media, developers of e-communication and clinical information solutions for the health sector, announced the launch of a new interactive Renal Anaemia Knowledge Centre inside the web-based physician resource www.epgonline.org.


Sanctioned by the European Medical Association (EMA), EPG Online is a free service for HCPs dedicated to providing doctors with up to date access to best practice diagnosing and patient management guidance. This independent service provides access to a range of EU pharmaceutical do drugs information, disease knowledge centres, decision support tools and original medical news content . Registration and access at EPG Online is free to Healthcare Professionals.


The Renal Anaemia Knowledge Centre has been developed in partnership with Roche and will broaden the range of existing interactive guides that form part of the EPG Online disease knowledge 'library'. Other guides focus on subjects such as Alzheimer's Disease, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, ADHD, Parkinson's Disease, Migraine, Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer and Hypertension.

Content of the Renal Anaemia Knowledge Centre includes illustrated information on the diverse stages of Chronic Kidney Disease, the causes of renal anemia, diagnosis guidance, treatment advice, practical patient downloads and links to other useful sources of information.


EPG Online also provides access to drug databases, safety alerts, drug reviews, evidence based commentary and findings, medical news and journal abstracts. The service is funded through pharmaceutical industry sponsorship and educational grants.
